EdgeGrip:

Edge Grip has been developed as a stair tread nose edge cover to reduce slips and falls on stair ways. In essence all stairs accessed by the public should have a contrasting nose edge colour as well as additional slip resistance surface. Egde Grip provides a long lasting solution. It will not peel and provides chemical resistance for those harsh environments.

Applications-

EdgeGrip is a pre-formed robust fibreglass panel capable of dealing with the busiest of environments. Its silicone carbon grit top finish provides an excellent slip resistant surface.
With its patented featheredge, EdgeGrip can be fitted to almost any step without creating a trip hazard. Even when fitted to landings and extra deep steps, its unique design provides the most secure solution.

Two types of slip resistant grit surfaces are available, Type I, for internal applications. The smaller grit size offers good slip resistancy whilst allowing a surface that is reasonably easy to clean. Type E, with a much heavier grit profile is ideal for the rigors of the external environment.

Fixings-

EdgeGrip is fitted using a combination of high quality adhesive and appropriate mechanical fixings. The optional fixing kits will provide everything needed to ensure a swift and easy installation.
